Job summary

The Financial Analyst II position at Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Austin reports to the Manager of the Provider Finance Department Local Funding Team. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited 4-year college or university.
• Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, or provider reimbursement preferred.
• Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
• Prior experience in finance or related position.

Responsibilities

• Designs data collection instruments and manuals to collect financial data.
• Performs complex financial analysis on program data and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Develops and implements financial policies and procedures for the department.
• Communicates with diverse groups and presents to executive leadership; handles inquiries and reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.
