Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Nurse IV HTW Policy Analyst to perform high-level medical benefit policy analysis for the HTW program. You will coordinate literature reviews, synthesize findings for clinical and policy audiences, and advise on HTW policy development.

The role requires independent work and strong writing skills, with telework eligibility and collaboration across HHSC divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year college; nursing degree preferred.
• Experience analyzing clinical research and applying findings to policy.
• Excellent writing and strong literature-review skills.

Responsibilities

• Clinical review of literature and synthesis of evidence for HTW policy updates.
• Develops and updates HTW medical policy; identifies eligibility standards and authorization requirements.
• Leads or participates in projects and workgroups; prepares updates, summaries, and reports; communicates with stakeholders.
