Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is hiring an HTST Operator I to prepare raw milk for cheese and raw whey for the whey plant. You will follow startup procedures, operate CIP cycles, take readings, log results, and help maintain safety and quality in a fast-paced production environment.

In-house training is provided, with no prior experience required. Starting rate is $26.49/hr with two pay raises in year one, a $1.50 shift differential, and Sunday time-and-a-half.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required; in-house training provided.
• Minimum one year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow start-up procedure of equipment.
• Take frequent readings and log results.
• Operate Clean In Place (CIP) cycles.
• Troubleshoot and maintain machinery.
• Clean and sanitize all HTST department areas.
• Assist coworkers and comply with QA policies.
• Monitor whey flow and separate cream during processing.
