Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Hull, IA is hiring a Whey Utility Operator. 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, 2-2-3 rotation, no prior experience required with on-the-job training. Starting wage $25.92, plus 1st year increases, shift differentials, and Sundays/holidays double time.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
No previous experience required; on-the-job training provided.
Minimum one year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain all whey department equipment and assist with shortages to meet production needs.
Cover operator absences and vacations; train new staff on equipment operations and safety.
Assist with equipment questions/repairs; coach on new equipment and techniques.
Assist in GMP, safety, and equipment training; monitor gauges and production standards.
Ensure Master Sanitation Schedule completion for whey areas; support major department projects.
Operate SAP, MES system and RF gun; train others on these systems.
