Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is hiring for a Cheese Production Operator in Wisconsin. You will operate five HCV vats, monitor recipes and milk inputs, adjust CIP and sanitation, and coordinate with pasteurizer and whey operators to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or six to twelve months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Language: Ability to read/interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports.
• Math: Ability to perform weight measurement calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense and solve problems in standard situations.

Responsibilities

• Operates five HCV vats and monitors production; adjusts recipes per schedule.
• Monitors milk standardization and adjusts recipe specifications.
• Checks firmness and adjusts timing for cut and rennet usage.
• Maintains inventories of milk, cream, condensed skim, starter, rennet, and color.
• Documents make schedule ingredient amounts and uses SAP for records.
• Communicates product usage to pasteurizer and EFV Operators; alerts whey team if issues arise.
• Ensures sanitation by cleaning HCVs, monitoring CIP, and setting up vats after CIP.
