The role requires travel to Devens and Newburyport facilities and active contribution to an industry-leading safety culture. The position emphasizes training delivery, incident investigations, data-driven reporting, and continuous improvement of safety practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven experience in HSSE responsibilities.
• Experience as a successful HSSE practitioner.
• Must be able to travel between facilities.
• Experience with combustible dusts and OSHA/NFPA regulations.
• Strong ability to produce reports and develop policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.
• Lead by example to create an industry-leading safety culture.
• Evaluate practices to assess risk and ensure compliance with policies.
• Ensure company-wide HSSE policy adherence and government regulations.
• Develop SOPs and work instructions for employee safety.
• Provide in-house training for PIV forklift/scissor/boom lift operations.
• Create audits and report health and safety metrics and statistics.
• Investigate incidents and manage workers’ compensation considerations.
• Collaborate with all employees to determine safety needs and improvement opportunities.
