Job summary

PCL Civil Constructors, Inc. in Covington, KY (East District) is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives across multiple project sites.

You will mentor project teams and ensure safe delivery of civil infrastructure. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, hazard identification and training, with a focus on building a strong safety culture and collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• 5 years’ experience in a health and safety role in a related industry; supervisory experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of OH&S and environmental legislation and HSE processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Construction knowledge and ability to lead training and audits.

Responsibilities

• Implements and supports project HSE plans and safe work practices.
• Delivers project-specific HSE training.
• Executes district HSE communication on projects.
• Identifies hazards and provides mitigation.
• Leads HSE inspections and monitors safety plans.
• Develops emergency response and environmental plans.
• Monitors contractor HSE performance.
• Participates in on-site investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintains relationships with stakeholders.
• Coaches and mentors HSE staff.
