Nox Group is seeking an HSE Superintendent to lead health, safety, and environmental efforts on construction projects. The role emphasizes building strong safety culture, guiding risk assessment, and ensuring project compliance with OSHA and NFPA standards.

The successful candidate will oversee small teams, coordinate training, and manage incident investigations while maintaining safety performance across site operations.

Qualifications

• Three years of construction HSE experience or a related degree.
• Supervisory experience preferred, including field personnel.
• Strong understanding of construction practices and safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to foster safety culture while ensuring policy compliance.
• Comfort working in varied weather and site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support HSE management systems and site-specific plans.
• Provide technical guidance to the project.
• Assist in risk recognition, evaluation, and mitigation planning.
• Facilitate HSE training and ensure records are tracked.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and reporting.
• Communicate project HSE status to management and stakeholders.
• Provide injury management and workers’ comp support.
• Ensure timely reporting and claims processing.
• Supervise assigned personnel and direct safety activities.
