Job summary

Magna International in Tennessee is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist to implement and oversee safety programs aligned with ISO45001, ISO14001, IATF16949 and OSHA. The role includes driving safety improvements, training, recordkeeping, and incident investigations across Magna Structures Tennessee LLC.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field, 2–4 years of manufacturing experience (preferably automotive), and CSP or similar safety

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field; or equivalent in years of experience and education.
Minimal 2-4 years manufacturing experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
Preference for CSP or similar safety certification.

Responsibilities

Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to by all team members.
Review and improve general health and safety policies per OSHA guidelines and Magna standards.
Assist in investigations of health and safety incidents and CAPA findings.
Maintain records, manage workers’ compensation processes and audits.
Coordinate health & safety training programs and participate in safety meetings.
