This role serves as the regional HSE contact for employees, field service personnel, subcontractors, and customers, ensuring safety in all activities. The EHS Specialist will support field service operations, equipment installations, site commissioning, and subcontractor management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HSE roles supporting industrial, manufacturing, or environmental operations.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard recognition, incident investigation, and risk assessment.
• Ability to interpret federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including training delivery.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Travel up to 15% to support field service, installation, and customer sites.
• Professional certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, CHST, CSP, OHST, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary local HSE resource for offices, field service, installation, and project personnel.
• Provide safety guidance, risk assessments, and compliance oversight for field activities.
• Conduct JHAs, site safety assessments, and pre-task planning reviews as needed.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and customer safety requirements.
• Assist with contractor safety qualification and performance management.
• Participate in site audits, inspections, and safety observations to identify risks.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; drive corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation, training records, permits, and reports.
• Support development and delivery of HSE training programs.
• Coordinate with customer HSE reps and site management on safety expectations.
