Durr CTS Inc. is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to promote safety and regulatory compliance across our air pollution control and environmental technology operations in North America.

The role acts as the regional HSE contact for employees, field service, and subcontractors, ensuring safe execution of projects and activities. The candidate will support field service operations, equipment installations, site commissioning, and subcontractor management, working with project teams to identify

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 3–5 years of HSE/EHS experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, field service, or environmental tech.
• OSHA regulations knowledge and contractor safety management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary local HSE resource for offices, field service, installation, and project personnel.
• Provide safety guidance, risk assessments, and compliance oversight for field service teams and equipment installations.
• Conduct JHAs, site safety assessments, and pre-task planning reviews when required.
• Monitor OSHA compliance, customer safety requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Assist with contractor safety qualification, orientation, and performance management.
• Participate in site audits, inspections, and safety observations to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation, training records, permits, and compliance reports.
• Support development and delivery of HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
• Coordinate with customer HSE reps and site management on safety expectations and practices.
• Track HSE performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
