Reporting To: Business Health, Safety & Env Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for HSE oversight and implementation of management systems, including executing a training strategy to ensure company and regulatory compliance in the US Region for our Electrification Service organization. You will collaborate with HSE professionals to promote a positive HSE culture across the Electrification Service NAM organization, including our field service teams.

The work model for this role is remote. Your main responsibilities include:

  1. Providing HSE leadership to the Electrification Service organization, focusing on the US West (California) and/or South (Southeast) regions. Evaluate risks and develop mitigation strategies for new projects.
  2. Developing and reviewing site-specific safety plans with project management and customers; assisting in personnel training; collaborating with managers to address current issues and improve practices.
  3. Supporting the development and harmonization of tools, programs, and procedures to ensure effective implementation; maintaining comprehensive and current HSE documentation.
  4. Implementing and optimizing processes within your area of responsibility, maintaining digital systems like Benchmark / Intelex for managing HSE programs.
  5. Supporting the electrical and LOTO programs, conducting HSE audits, managing digital analytics for performance tracking, and reporting on HSE metrics.
Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree + minimum 8 years HSE experience (preferably in Field Service), OR an Associate's degree + 10 years, OR a High School diploma/GED + 12 years of experience.
  • Formal certifications and training in Safety and Environmental fields.
  • Knowledge of local HSE regulations and international standards.
  • Advanced skills in database management systems and MS Office.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% domestically.
  • Legal work authorization for employment in the US.
