In this full-time role you will develop, implement and evaluate safety policies and training, maintain records, investigate accidents and near-misses, and drive continuous improvement with strong organization and communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years related safety experience.
• Experience in safety observations/inspections and compliance strategies.
• Knowledge of OSHA and federal safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate departmental safety programs.
• Develop and conduct safety training for all employees.
• Maintain all HSE training records and notify managers of requirements.
• Schedule training to keep employees compliant with safety standards.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses; prepare reports and recommendations.
