Job summary

Shirley Parsons is seeking an EHS Manager for a leading electrical equipment manufacturer in Jackson, MS. In this role, you will lead the HSSE function, drive a proactive safety culture, and align environmental and compliance programs with site goals.

You'll coach cross-functional teams, lead investigations, and analyze data to spur continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of HSE leadership in manufacturing and a degree in a related field.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline.
8+ years of HSE experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.
Strong knowledge of HSE management systems and regulatory requirements.
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the site HSSE function, aligning with goals and regulatory requirements.
Create and implement health, safety, security, and environmental strategies.
Coach operational leaders and provide HSSE support.
Drive incident investigations and near-miss reporting, promoting learning.
Monitor performance via audits, inspections, and data analysis to strengthen initiatives.
