Job summary

The Walsh Group seeks an experienced HSE Manager for our Water Division in Oklahoma City, OK. You will lead site-specific EHS plans, coordinate subcontractor safety, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key duties include accident investigations, environmental monitoring, industrial hygiene guidance, drug-free workplace oversight, and EHS training. Travel may be required across projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• CHST certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction EHS field.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem solving abilities; ability to prioritize and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an effective site-specific EHS plan in line with corporate, divisional, and regional programs.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols and audits; plan to eliminate hazards and minimize risks.
• Conduct on-site EHS audits; inspect site, equipment, and processes for regulatory and policy compliance.
• Conduct accident investigations and provide incident reports for PM review.
• Provide training on EHS requirements and coordinate new hire EHS orientations.
