Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking an HSE Manager for its Water Division in Brandenton, FL to lead health, safety and environmental programs on site. You will develop site-specific EHS plans, coordinate subcontractor safety protocols, and drive inspections, incident investigations and training to ensure compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Eng or Construction Management.
• CHST certification or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of construction EHS experience with strong regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-specific EHS plans in coordination with Project Manager and leadership.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols and audits; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Plan and coordinate hazard elimination, risk minimization and loss control measures.
• Conduct on-site EHS audits and periodic inspections of site, equipment and processes.
• Perform accident investigations and manage incident reporting for review.
• Administer drug-free workplace policies and coordinate testing as required.
• Provide EHS training, orientation for new hires, and updates to leadership.
