Job summary

Patterson-UTI is seeking an HSE Advisor I to oversee the implementation of HSE requirements across designated operational areas. The role partners with HSE professionals and Operations to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards, while building strong relationships with employees and stakeholders.

The position is salaried and requires field exposure across rigs. The role emphasizes safety training, risk-based management, PTW and JRA processes, and incident investigation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in an HSE role or two years in a rig-based role.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of HSE requirements across designated areas.
• Lead HSE audits and risk assessments for drilling operations.
• Mentor teams on PTW, JRA, hazard recognition, and safety initiatives.
• Investigate incidents and identify corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
