Job summary

Fenner, Inc. is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) Intern for Summer 2027 in Manheim, PA. You will join the HSE team on-site to support safety initiatives across multiple facilities and assist with risk assessments, training, and incident investigations.

You will gain hands-on experience in safety analysis, policy development, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to a safer workplace and regulatory compliance across U.S. operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of college/technical school in a related field.
• Pursuing degree in related fields.
• Working knowledge of safety disciplines: risk assessment, training, policy development, compliance.

Responsibilities

• Validate existing Job Safety Analyses.
• Evaluate LockOut Tag procedures.
• Complete baseline noise surveys for PA facilities.
• Perform PPE assessments and ergonomic safety updates.
• Coordinate safety programs across facilities.
• Ensure required training is performed for associates.
• Participate in incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
