Job summary

The Hershey Company is offering a Summer 2027 Environmental, Health, and Safety Intern position at the Reese Plant in Hershey, PA. You will support the EHS team by performing risk assessments, incident investigations, and compliance-driven activities to strengthen workplace safety and environmental performance.

You will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing, participate in safety initiatives, and complete at least one defined EHS improvement project with results presented to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Occupational, Safety, and Health, Environmental Compliance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the work environment for risks and hazards.
• Support incident investigations and assist with corrective/preventive actions.
• Perform hazard assessments and recommend risk reduction opportunities.
• Assist with interpretation of OSHA standards/regulations.
• Participate in safety committees and provide updates to site leadership.
• Assist with EHS training and communication materials.
• Complete at least one defined EHS improvement project and present results.
