Job summary

Fenner Precision Polymers is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental Intern for Summer 2027 in Manheim, PA. You will work on cross-functional projects, support safety programs, and gain exposure to executive leadership through a final project presentation.

You will validate JSA, assess procedures, perform noise surveys, conduct PPE assessments, and update the Ergonomic Safety Program. This role emphasizes training, incident investigation, and risk mitigation while collaborating across sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of college or technical school in a related field.
• Pursuing a degree in related fields is expected.
• Working knowledge of multiple technical safety disciplines and regulations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels.
• Experience with safety audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Validate existing Job Safety Analyses.
• Evaluate Lockout-Tag procedures for machine safety.
• Complete baseline noise surveys for Pennsylvania facilities.
• Perform personal protective equipment assessments.
• Update Ergonomic Safety Program and coordinate safety across facilities.
• Ensure required training is performed with associates.
• Participate in incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Make recommendations to mitigate risks and stay current with safety regulations.
