University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking an HRSS Specialist Open Rank (Entry or Intermediate) to join the HR Shared Services team. This full-time role supports recruitment, onboarding, policy guidance, and visa coordination for faculty, staff, and students.

The position emphasizes collaboration with department Administrators and the School of Medicine's HR and Faculty Affairs teams, with a hybrid work schedule (3 days on campus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Experience in HR functions and knowledge of HR laws, rules, and procedures is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day recruitment activities for student employees, University Staff, and Faculty through HCM and CU Careers systems.
• Assist departments in sourcing candidates, reviewing job descriptions and announcements, screening applicants, conducting job analyses, and developing assessment tools in consultation with subject matter experts.
• Coordinate faculty affairs recruitment and selection functions.
• Facilitate onboarding for new employees, including collecting documents, scheduling orientations and training, and processing compensation and personnel actions.
