Nature of Work: This is an exciting opportunity to join a human resources team at the University of Colorado. Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) manages and streamlines human resources functions for participating departments in the School of Medicine on the Anschutz Medical Campus. The Anschutz Medical Campus fosters collaboration amongst students, researchers, and clinicians in one of the largest academic health centers in the nation. Campus architecture and state‑of‑the‑art technology bridge education and research with two world‑class hospitals: University of Colorado Hospital and Children's Hospital Colorado.
University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking applications for a Human Resources Specialist. This full‑time University Staff (non‑classified) position will serve as a resource to participating basic science and clinical departments and divisions by providing support, guidance, and interpretation of Federal, State, University, and School of Medicine laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, assuring compliance in a variety of human resources areas, which include recruitment, selection, and faculty affairs processes. The person in this role will work closely with the Administrators of all participating departments and collaborate with the School of Medicine's Human Resources and Faculty Affairs teams.
The ideal candidate for this position will be an energetic individual who is ready to help create change and be part of a group of professionals dedicated to collaborative approaches, relationship building, and positive outcomes.
Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in‑person meetings.
