Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst in Detroit, MI to lead global HRIT initiatives, optimize systems across Recruiting, On/Offboarding, and People Analytics, and integrate Workday with other platforms. You will own the technical roadmap, mentor teammates, and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role demands experience with HR tech, strong analytics, API knowledge, and familiarity with agile and waterfall methods.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field.
5+ years in systems engineering or HR technology partner roles.
Experience with Workday and HR platforms for recruiting, learning, CRM, analytics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced Excel and data visuals.
Knowledge of API documentation for integration and troubleshooting.
Experience with Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall methodologies using Jira.
Ability to connect HR strategy to technology solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead global technical projects and initiatives.
Manage identification and resolution of business and data issues.
Act as the main technical contact between business and IT teams.
Maintain knowledge of business processes and technologies; promote best practices.
Drive process improvements and align technical roadmap with objectives.
Coordinate project delivery with vendors and internal IT.
Perform data mining and analysis to support decision-making.
