Job summary

TowneBank is seeking an HRIS Support Specialist in Suffolk, VA to manage employee data in HRIS, ensure accuracy, and serve as a point of contact for HR information systems for employees and management.

The role includes creating reports, assisting with training, and supporting salary/history information requests while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience entering and updating employee data in HRIS systems.
• Ability to create ad-hoc reports from HRIS.
• Experience with salary/history information requests.
• Knowledge of payroll processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter employment-related changes into the HRIS and maintain data accuracy.
• Provide troubleshooting for HRIS: data corrections, report requests, login issues, and timecard access.
• Assist with creating and maintaining HRIS documentation and SOPs.
• Provide HRIS training and support for users.
• Generate ad-hoc reports for multiple departments.
• Stay updated on HRIS changes through training and conferences.
• Support salary requests and salary/history information.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Maintain data integrity and change approvals.
