Job summary

The University of North Texas System Administration's HRIS team is seeking a detail-oriented Application Support Assistant to handle administrative tasks, manage ServiceNow tickets, maintain spreadsheets, and create forms and presentations. The role involves evaluating and improving electronic processes and preparing SOPs with timely, professional communication.

Three days per week at five hours per day, located in Denton, TX, with an hourly compensation structure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least three years of office or HR support experience.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to handle difficult customer situations.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment and filing systems.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative duties in the HR area.
• Create ServiceNow request tickets and manage spreadsheets.
• Develop forms and presentations with high accuracy.
• Evaluate electronic processes and suggest improvements.
• Manage the HRIS Outlook inbox and communicate effectively with customers.
• Prepare SOP documents as needed.
