Job summary

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP is seeking an HRIS Specialist to provide initial HRIS support across HR systems, including data management in PeopleSoft HCM and UKGPro. You will design and support HR workflows, validate data, and coordinate with payroll, benefits, and IT to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role requires HR experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to train users on PeopleSoft. A hybrid onsite/remote work arrangement applies across U.S. offices.

Qualifications

• HR oriented Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years demonstrated experience in a HR department, preferably in a professional services organization.
• One or more years supporting an HR or HRIS request queue or help desk.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word).
• Working knowledge of configuring PeopleSoft or similar HRIS systems; querying/reporting skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide HRIS initial support for HR Systems including data management in PeopleSoft HCM and UKGPro.
• Design and support HR Systems workflows and processes.
• Process employee actions and other transaction documents with accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee HRIS mailbox and first‑line support, escalating requests as needed.
• Maintain employee data in PeopleSoft and coordinate with payroll/benefits/IT.
