Job summary

Pennant is seeking an HRIS Analyst to own the Workday Payroll, Absence Management, and Time Tracking landscape, ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliant time data. You will partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT to lead configuration changes, releases, and cross-functional project delivery.

The role requires hands-on Workday configuration experience across payroll and time, SOX controls familiarity, and a knack for translating complex regulatory requirements into scalable solutions

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Workday experience, including 2+ years supporting Payroll
• Strong U.S. payroll expertise in multi-state environments
• Hands-on Workday configuration, reporting, integrations, and release management
• Experience supporting SOX-controlled payroll environments
• Workday certifications in U.S. Payroll preferred

Responsibilities

• Own design, configuration, and ongoing optimization of Workday Payroll
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable Workday solutions
• Lead Workday semi-annual releases, including impact analysis, testing, documentation, and deployment
• Act as the escalation point for complex payroll, time, and absence issues
