Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in Higher Education
  • Two years in Human Resources, HR operations, HRIS administration, employee data management, reporting, or related area
  • Experience with HRIS or comparable enterprise system, including data maintenance, reporting, audits, data validation and records management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, regulatory requirements, and data confidentiality
  • Experience collaborating with Payroll and cross-functional partners
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and with discretion while maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to support Christian values and mission of the University

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary HR resource for administration, maintenance, and effective use of HR systems (Colleague, CROA, NEOED, Workday, and others)
  • Lead transition from Ellucian Colleague to Workday, including planning, data migration, testing, process design, and training
  • Maintain accurate employee data through audits, updates, file maintenance, and governance
  • Develop and analyze recurring and ad hoc HR reports to support workforce planning and audits
  • Coordinate and prepare HR data submissions for annual, institutional, regulatory, and compliance reporting
  • Evaluate HR processes and system functionality and recommend improvements
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and new functionality through testing, validation, and implementation support
  • Develop and maintain HR process documentation, user guides, SOPs, and training materials
  • Maintain confidentiality and storage of employee records in compliance with policies
  • Liaise between HR, Payroll, IT, Institutional Research, vendors, and partners on data, systems, and reporting needs
  • Support HR initiatives through project planning, coordination, testing, and follow-up activities
  • Assist stakeholders with HR data, reporting, systems, and operational needs while upholding university values
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
