Job summary

Portland Public Schools is seeking a temporary, bond-funded HR analytics and HRIS/HRMS specialist onsite in Portland, OR. The exempt 1.0 FTE role focuses on implementation, reporting, testing, and upgrades to support district HR planning and operations.

You will analyze and lead HRIS/HRMS projects, validate data integrity, develop reports, and collaborate with HR and IT to keep systems reliable while driving process improvements. End date 9/30/2028.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or SAP.
• Knowledge of relational databases and basic SQL.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical skills and data quality focus.
• Ability to translate business needs into system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and maintenance of HRIS/HRMS.
• Serve as a technical point-of-contact for district HRIS/HRMS.
• Develop reports, validate data integrity, and perform data analysis.
• Coordinate testing, upgrades, and system changes with HR and IT.
• Train users and produce documentation for ERP modules.
