Job summary

Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) seeks an HRIS Coordinator to join the Talent Acquisition team in Lincoln, NE. You will manage Workday entries, reconcile data, and support benefits administration for teammates, ensuring accurate lifecycle processing and timely payroll/onboarding tasks.

The role is based in Lincoln with standard hours 8:30am–5:00pm. Wage range is $17.608–$27.577 per hour, commensurate with education and experience within fiscal constraints.

Qualifications

• One year of coursework or training in personnel management, business administration, public administration or office/administrative or two years of related experience.
• Previous experience with Human Resource Information Systems and generating reports to ensure accurate processing.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, complete, and reconcile entries in Workday and related platforms for employee lifecycle.
• Monitor hires/transfers and ensure accurate modifications across systems.
• Serve as a primary contact for payroll/onboarding questions, providing timely assistance.
