Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking an HRIS Applications Analyst to serve as the Workday/Epic expert supporting HR processes. You’ll analyze workflows, troubleshoot issues, build test solutions, develop reports, and help implement releases.

This hybrid role requires Nebraska or Iowa residency; on-campus presence 1–2 days weekly; resume required; Workday certification preferred; strong collaboration and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience in designated HRIS application area.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education/experience.
• If supporting Epic application, ability to obtain EPIC certification within six months of hire.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Analytical skills necessary to apply knowledge to system problems and improve efficiency with systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workflow and documentation requirements for clinical and/or business processes within assigned departments and operational areas.
• Provide ongoing analysis and troubleshooting support of application system components to meet needs and clinical/business requirements.
• Perform applications testing and participate in integrated testing of current and newly released vendor functionality to ensure system reliability.
• Contribute to updates, upgrades, and projects within and across applications and develops application specific solutions.
• Provide 24/7 customer support for applications within accountability.
