Job summary

MLGW is seeking an HRIS Analyst II to support administration, maintenance, and optimization of HRIS and related systems. You will work with HR, IT, and leadership to ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

The role involves training users, supporting audits, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Oracle EBS, Taleo, and OBIA are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Admin, Information Systems or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of professional HRIS/HR operations experience.
  • Experience with enterprise HR systems (Oracle EBS, Taleo, OBIA) and HR reporting/analytics.

No information obtained in this application is intended to be used for such discrimination. **JOB PURPOSE**: The HRIS Analyst 2 intermediate level role is responsible for supporting the administration, maintenance, analysis, and optimization of the organization’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and related applications. This intermediate-level professional role supports HR operations through system administration, reporting, troubleshooting, data analysis, process improvement, testing activities, and end-user support to ensure efficient and effective HR system functionality. The position partners closely with HR functions, Information Technology, and organizational leadership to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, reporting accuracy, regulatory compliance, and the effective use of HR systems and workforce data. The HRIS Analyst 2 also assists with system enhancements, audits, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives that support organizational and operational objectives. Provide HRIS support for Oracle EBS, Taleo, OBIA, and related systems; train users; and troubleshoot system, process, and data issues. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**: This role support the administration, maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of HRIS applications and related systems in collaboration with Information Technology and vendors. Assist with system configuration, workflows, organizational structure updates, security access, system upgrades, implementations, testing activities, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Monitor HR system functionality and support operational improvements, workflow enhancements, and process efficiencies. Maintain accurate employee and organizational data through audits, transaction reviews, and data validation to ensure integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. Generate reports, workforce analytics, and compliance-related reporting to support HR operations, leadership decision-making, regulatory requirements, and organizational business needs. Support audits, records management, data governance, system access monitoring, and compliance with organizational policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Assist with HR business process evaluations, HR technology initiatives, continuous improvement projects, change management efforts, and system documentation including procedures, workflows, and user guides. Provide technical and functional HRIS support, training assistance, and respond to inquiries regarding HR data, reporting, and system processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications ****LICENSES AND** **CERTIFICATIONS**** A valid driver's license from state of residence is required. HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or related certification preferred. ****EDUCATION**** Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field is required. **EXPERIENCE** Minimum of two (2) years of professional progressive level experience in Human Resources Information Systems, HR Operations, or related systems experience is required. Experience supporting enterprise HR systems, including Oracle or similar platforms, as well as HR reporting tools, analytics, system troubleshooting, and workforce-related processes required. Preferred experience includes Oracle EBS, Taleo, OBIA reporting, Oracle Cloud, Power BI (Business Intelligence) HR system integrations, project management, database management, and supporting HR operations within utility, government, or unionized environments. **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION** Works in office majority of the time. Physical Demands: Requires sedentary work involving standing or walking for brief periods, exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular basis; and dexterity in operating office equipment. This position requires vision, hearing and speaking abilities. Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills and advanced utilization of Excel software.
