Job summary

Colonial Group in Buffalo seeks an HRIS Analyst I to support administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the HR tech environment. You will help maintain data integrity, support HR processes, and assist with system enhancements and projects.

You will work with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT to gather requirements, test configurations, and document processes while ensuring privacy and security of employee information. This is an on-site role in Buffalo.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) providing support around HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, HRIS, or other business processes.
• 1+ year(s) experience with HRIS or enterprise business application; Dayforce or another HCM platform preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work in excel proficiently.
• Ability to document requirements and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Actively and consistently support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Support HR processes and employee/manager experience through HR technology.
• Gather, document, maintain requirements for HRIS enhancements and reporting.
• Support configuration of HR applications including Dayforce, TalentQuest, Iron Mountain, and DocuSign.
• Maintain employee and organizational data within HR systems and resolve data integrity issues.
• Monitor HRIS tickets and system issues per service levels.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed to senior HRIS members.
• Assist with gaps between HR processes and system functionality.
• Assist with system configuration changes and security/access requests.
• Develop and maintain reports and assist with data analysis for decisions.
• Create and maintain end-user documentation and training materials.
• Review HR procedures and improve data capture and sharing between systems.
• Assist with system releases, upgrades, and HR technology projects.
• Maintain awareness of HR data privacy and compliance.
