Job Overview
The HRIS Analyst analyzes processes and data by extracting and analyzing complex data from various warehouse environments. This role identifies trends and patterns, reports findings, and recommends business and process improvements. The analyst collaborates with business users to understand requirements for both ongoing and ad hoc data needs, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the HRIS systems to meet departmental objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy standards.
  • Manage and maintain the organization’s HR information systems, including database management, system upgrades, and interface files.
  • Assess current system utilization, recommend improvements, and optimize system value and efficiency.
  • Develop and execute regular audit reports to maintain data integrity across HR functions.
  • Oversee database files, tables, codes, backups, and security.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for software implementation, modifications, and upgrades.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to HR staff.
  • Procure and support hardware and software to ensure high-quality systems.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments on data audits, controls, and reporting needs.
  • Maintain audit trails for report generation and data changes.
  • Stay informed about trends and developments in HRIS technology.

Employee Benefits

  • Assist with compliance for federal and state filings, including EEO-1, OPEB, 5500 SARs, and others.
  • Streamline benefits enrollment and modifications via online systems.
  • Ensure proper employee coverage and reconcile benefit invoices.
  • Support CBA benefit compliance and maintain audit records.

Other Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage third-party interface files for accurate data transmission.
  • Identify process improvements, control enhancements, and cost savings.
  • Handle reporting requests and provide ad-hoc analysis support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HRIT or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management or HR experience, with knowledge of benefits, compensation, and analytics a plus.
  • SHRM-CP certification a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS reporting.
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to challenge processes and increase efficiency.

Physical & Work Environment

The role is primarily office-based, involving prolonged sitting, with occasional light physical activity. The environment is standard and professional, with typical office equipment usage.

Pay Range: $35.00-$41.00 hourly
