This position offers the flexibility for you to work remotely from any location within the United States.

Where You Fit:

The Data Conversion Analyst works with our implementation team to ensure the smooth transition of new customer data into our ERP system. We are looking for a seasoned MS SQL Data Conversion Analyst who values stability, excellent benefits, and an opportunity to apply their deep experience to solve complex data puzzles.

Our database environment is mature, and the workflow can be fast paced with immediate data challenges that require a steady, experienced hand. This is a role for a pragmatist who understands best practices and also knows how to get the job done effectively in a database that has evolved through the years.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, map, and convert data from various sources into a structured format.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data transformation needs and project alignment across the software modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to assure accuracy and completeness of converted data. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies.
• Respond to and resolve urgent data fix requests from the implementation team.
• Develop and maintain data conversion documentation, including mapping documents, conversion scripts, and validation plans.
• Maintain general awareness of Springbrook security and privacy policies.
• Report any security incident or suspected security incident to the Springbrook Incident Response Team.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive, hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server development.
• Highly comfortable writing and troubleshooting T-SQL queries.
• Adept at working directly with production databases and understands the importance of care and precision.
• Strong background in data conversion, migration, and ETL processes.
• High level of proficiency and knowledge of how to interact and pull data from multiple different data formats such as Oracle, SQL, MySQL, Flat File (CSV, Fixed length, JSON).
• Strong problem-solving skills and can remain calm and effective in a reactive, results-driven environment.
• Self-starter who can work independently, manage priorities, and provide feedback to the team.
• Understands the principles of database normalization but is pragmatic enough to work effectively with legacy database structures.
• Experience with dataform or dbt is a plus.
• Experience in ETL tools such as ADF and Talend is a plus.
