Job summary

Dexter Magnetic Technologies is seeking an HRIS Analyst to own and optimize the HRIS landscape, with Rippling at the center. You will manage data accuracy, create HR analytics, and support payroll, benefits, onboarding, and performance workflows.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in HRIS, hands-on Rippling experience, and familiarity with Workday/ADP. This full-time role requires in-person work at our Elk Grove Village site in IL.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IS, or related field.
  • 3+ years HRIS or HR operations experience (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred).
  • Experience with system integrations (HRIS, ERP, timekeeping systems).
  • Hands-on experience with Rippling (configuration, reporting, workflows).
  • U.S. person status per ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Act as SME for the HRIS, including configuration, maintenance, and enhancements.
  • Manage employee data ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance across HR systems.
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics for HR and leadership.
  • Support and optimize HR workflows such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, and performance management.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve them.
  • Lead system upgrades, implementations, and process improvements.
  • Ensure data privacy compliance and internal controls.
  • Regularly audit HRIS data and workflows in Rippling for accuracy and compliance.
  • Train HR and business users on system functionality and best practices.

Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position:

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the administration, optimization, and ongoing support of the organization’s Human Resources Information System, with a primary focus on Rippling. This role ensures data integrity, system efficiency, and seamless HR processes while delivering insights that support strategic decision-making.

  • Manage employee data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance across HR systems

  • Regularly audit HRIS data and workflows in Rippling to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of HRIS or HR operations experience (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred)
  • Experience with system integrations (HRIS, ERP, timekeeping systems)
  • Hands-on experience with Rippling (configuration, reporting, workflows)
  • This position may require access to ITAR-controlled technical data and services. As such, all applicants must be U.S. persons, as defined by ITAR, to be considered for this role. A U.S. person is a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or individual with protected status under U.S. immigration laws.   • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of HR processes, data governance, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with system integrations and APIs
  • Familiarity with other HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP)
  • Experience in a fast-paced or scaling organization
  • Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing or distribution environments
  • Knowledge of payroll, time & attendance systems, and labor tracking
  • Experience with system integrations (HRIS, ERP, timekeeping systems)
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements in manufacturing environments (labor laws, safety reporting)
  • Exposure to Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments

Targeted Salary Range: $85,000-$95,000 + bonus
