Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking an HRIS Administrator/Analyst to manage SAP SuccessFactors, generate reports, and support HRIS initiatives. The role emphasizes data integrity, timely processing, and teamwork in a government-focused environment.

The position reports to the HRIS Manager and requires substantial HRIS experience, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of payroll, benefits, and compliance. Onsite work at SPA Headquarters in Alexandria, VA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in HRIS or related roles.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Understanding of HR processes and data, including payroll, benefits, talent management, and compliance.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced/growth-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of HR regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work onsite at SPA Headquarters in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates the HRIS configurations, workflows, and role-based permissions.
• Generates custom and scheduled reports and analyzes data for integrity.
• Supports HRIS projects and dashboards across the organization.
• Receives and resolves HRIS inquiries with technical guidance and training.
• Collaborates with HR and IT teams to maintain data accuracy and security.
• Documents processes and stays current with HR technology trends.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
