Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university with two years of experience in a human service program, counseling, training, or administrative support in staff development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and assess training programs aligned with agency goals.
• Assist with employment relations concerns and identify training gaps.
• Coordinate and deliver specialized training (e.g., Civil Rights, Shelter/Disaster) and staff orientation.
• Set up equipment and software information for new employees; use multimedia tools for knowledge transfer.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys and adjustments; manage training logistics.
• Prepare staffing reports; assist HR projects such as internship coordination and job fairs; conduct exit interviews.
• Communicate findings with Staff Development Trainers to tailor training to agency needs.
• Support disaster relief operations as required; driving position with valid NC license.
