Job summary

Serrato Corp. in Little Rock, AR is seeking an HR and Training Manager to support core HR functions including employee relations, development, compliance, compensation, recruitment, and training oversight.

The role supervises the HR Specialist and drives wage, benefits, and records administration. The position requires 4+ years of HR experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong knowledge of labor laws.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related HR experience or training.
• One-year supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Services, Psychology, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
• Computer literacy with basic functions (email, internet) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with payroll and/or HR applications or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to handle employee relations issues including conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and measure HR activities for the Center.
• Supervise employment activities including recruitment, testing, references, and related matters.
• Oversee new hires, transfers, salary changes, and personnel practices.
• Maintain wage/salary administration and labor grades.
• Oversee benefits administration (life, health, disability, tuition reimbursement, retirement).
• Maintain records for benefits and confidential personnel files.
• Monitor EEO, OFCCP, and corporate policies.
• Assist managers; review discipline documentation and wage issues.
• Process payroll and HRIS data accurately and timely.
• Support staff relations and performance improvement efforts.
• Ensure overtime control and accountability in scheduling.
