Job summary

Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is seeking an intermediate-level Human Resources Analyst II to support district-wide training initiatives, manage our LMS, and coordinate employee engagement through service award programs.

The role emphasizes talent development, event coordination, onboarding, and data reporting to improve workforce effectiveness across Southern California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience; or two years as an MWD Analyst I level in the related field.
• Experience coordinating employee training programs and managing LMS course creation and reporting.
• Strong event planning and onboarding coordination capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Training & E-Learning Coordination: Assist in preparing, coordinating, and managing district training initiatives, e-learning modules, and instructional materials.
• LMS Management: Utilize LMS to create new classes, generate reports, and analyze training data.
• Course Evaluation: Support delivery of training courses and monitor performance with feedback loops.
• Onboarding & Orientation: Coordinate onboarding logistics and collaborate with Metropolitan stakeholders.
• Recognition Events: Act as project manager for monthly service award programs and luncheons.
