Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking an HR Training Instructor for the Continuing Education division. This pool position teaches HR courses at various times and locations, developing materials and employing diverse methods to meet student outcomes.

Requirements include an Associate Degree, 5 years HR experience, and SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification. Preference for CANVAS experience and prior post-secondary teaching. This is a part-time, non-exempt role with $30 per hour pay and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required with HR background.
• SHRM CP/ SCP certification preferred.
• Five years of HR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Continuing Education HR courses at varied times/locations.
• Develop and use diverse teaching methods and materials.
• Evaluate students and manage grades in line with college policies.
• Maintain professional relationships with students and community.
• Prepare syllabi, attendance rosters, and grade submissions.
