Del Mar College is seeking a Safety Instructor for Continuing Education to provide high quality instruction and maintain a positive, safe learning environment for all students.
This position is part-time and filled from a continuous applicant pool to teach courses at various times and locations as needed. A minimum of five years related experience and a High School Diploma are required; basic computer skills including email are necessary. Open date is 11/12/2025.
This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill part-time, temporary, hourly assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. The Safety Instructor for Continuing Education is responsible for providing high quality instruction and maintaining a positive, safe learning environment for all students.
Instructors will be required to have basic computer skills to communicate via email, input final student grades into WebDMC, input hours worked and conduct presentations as needed.
Five (5) years related work experience.
