Job summary

Del Mar College seeks adjunct instructors to teach Human Services courses across multiple times and locations, including online and dual-credit offerings. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Services or related field, at least three years of field experience, and current LPC or LCDC licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Services or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience within the field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC).

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations, including online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.
• Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students who have differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course outcomes.
