Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking a Safety Instructor for Continuing Education to provide high quality instruction and maintain a positive, safe learning environment for all students.

This position is part-time and filled from a continuous applicant pool to teach courses at various times and locations as needed. A minimum of five years related experience and a High School Diploma are required; basic computer skills including email are necessary. Open date is 11/12/2025.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years related work experience.
• High School Diploma; certifications may apply.
• Knowledge of machines, tools, equipment, software and hardware relevant to the subject matter.
• Basic computer skills including internet, email and keyboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality instruction and maintain a positive, safe learning environment for all students.
• Teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need.
• Prepare class materials and curriculum.
• Prepare grade sheets, evaluations and attendance records.
