Job summary

City of Fort Wayne is seeking a part-time HR Training & Development Intern to support employee learning and development programs, onboarding, and organization-wide HR initiatives. Under the direction of the Professional Development Manager, you will help administer the training platform, maintain training records, assist managers with training modules, and provide administrative support to the HR team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of the City's employee training platform.
• Manage employee accounts and training records in Global E-Training.
• Help managers review and evaluate training modules.
• Maintain training records and employee information accurately.
• Provide administrative support to the Professional Development Manager and HR team.
• Assist with new employee orientation and onboarding activities.
• Support organization-wide training programs and meetings.
• Assist with employee recognition programs and special events.
• Prepare training materials, communications, and other resources.
• Provide general support for HR projects and initiatives.
