Job description

KBP Brands is seeking an HR Technology Administrator to join our HR Technology team at our Leawood, KS home office. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, HR Technology, this role serves as the primary system owner for Paradox, managing its configuration, reporting, testing, and monthly enhancement cycles — while also providing administrative and transactional support for Workday, such as data corrections and audits, and acting as the go-to resource for the HR technology help desk. This is an in-office role for the first six months (hybrid-eligible thereafter), based in the Kansas City metro area. The ideal candidate is early-career to mid-level, brings a customer-service mindset paired with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, and is excited to build a career in HR technology administration, this is not a senior Workday configuration or HRIS analyst position.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary system administrator for Paradox, managing core configurations, system rules, user access, and permissions.
  • Coordinate the review, testing, communication, and deployment of Paradox's monthly product updates and new functionality.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the HR technology help desk, delivering responsive customer service while troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
  • Administer routine Workday transactions, including recurring auto-termination processing, data corrections, and audits.
  • Monitor, validate, and resolve data errors between point-of-sale (POS) systems and Workday time punch integrations.
  • Build and maintain Paradox reporting metrics and dashboards to deliver insights on recruiting and candidate engagement.
  • Provide flexible, high-quality ad hoc administrative support and troubleshooting across the broader HR technology stack.
  • Maintain data governance and security standards when handling employee data across Paradox, Workday, and connected systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, system usability, and automation across HR technology platforms.
  • Partner with HR Technology teammates and outside vendors to support platform capabilities and resolve system issues.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, training aids, and process guides for HR users and business partners.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Approximately 2-3 years of experience in HR technology, ATS/HRIS administration, or system support, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on experience administering, configuring, or troubleshooting an ATS or HRIS platform — not just using one as an end user.
  • Experience with Paradox, Olivia, or similar conversational AI/ATS tools is a big plus.
  • Workday Core experience is a plus, but advanced Workday configuration expertise is not required — this role is scoped around administrative and transactional Workday support, not configuration work.
  • A customer-service mindset paired with strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • A self-starter who exercises good judgment and can manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
  • An adaptable learner who's comfortable with a learning curve and open to taking on new responsibilities as the role grows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort handling confidential and sensitive employee data with integrity.
  • Based in the Kansas City metro area, or willing to relocate; able to work in-office full-time for the first six months, transitioning to hybrid thereafter.
