Job summary

SHRM in Alexandria, VA, seeks a Senior Specialist, HR Technology Content to develop editorial content on HR technology, AI, people analytics, digital transformation, and organizational change for HR professionals.

You will produce articles, white papers, newsletters, videos, and webinars, translating complex tech into practical insights and partnering with internal teams and external experts to keep content timely and credible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred or relevant equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• Five (5) or more years of professional editorial content creation experience focused on HR technology or related subjects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing writing, storytelling, interviewing, and editorial expertise.
• Experience using content management systems; Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred.
• Experience leveraging content analytics and audience insights to inform editorial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop editorial strategies covering HR technology, AI, and related workplace trends.
• Produce and edit content across formats: articles, white papers, newsletters, videos, webinars.
• Translate complex concepts into practical content for HR executives and business leaders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely, accurate content.
• Monitor content performance and apply insights to improve engagement.
