Job summary

Reading School District is seeking a Human Resources Talent Management Specialist to coordinate talent acquisition, onboarding, employee training, and engagement. This position supports workforce development, compliance with employment laws, and collaboration with district leaders to enhance student success.

The role emphasizes data-driven recruitment, onboarding effectiveness, and continuous improvement across HR functions within a 12-month, full-time framework.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in HR, Data Analytics, Business Administration or related field required; or Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum of three years HR, recruitment, employee development, or related experience.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising, outreach, job fairs, and partnerships.
• Coordinate onboarding and onboarding communications with Payroll, Benefits, Technology, and administrators.
• Develop and maintain onboarding procedures, resources, and communication materials.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and retention activities.
• Analyze recruitment, onboarding, vacancy, and retention data to identify trends and improvements.
