Job summary

Reading School District in Reading, PA is seeking a Human Resources Talent Management Specialist to coordinate talent management across the District, including recruitment, onboarding, training, professional development, and employee engagement. Qualifications

• Two-year degree in HR, data analytics, business administration, or related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities for assigned employee groups.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies.
• Screen candidates, schedule interviews, and manage references; ensure compliance (Act 168, I-9, licensure checks).
• Develop recruitment pipelines through college/university partnerships and community organizations.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and recommend process improvements.
• Coordinate onboarding and employee engagement initiatives with multiple departments.
• Maintain onboarding materials and ensure accurate HR records and reporting.
