UCPIE, based in Palm Desert, CA, seeks an Human Resources Coordinator to manage recruitment, onboarding, and staffing for respite, after-school, and admin programs. You will partner with program leaders, drive candidate pipelines, and ensure regulatory compliance across the employee lifecycle.

The role emphasizes sourcing caregivers, managing interviews, and guiding new hires through onboarding, while maintaining confidentiality and supporting HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, psychology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years in recruitment, staffing coordination, or human resources.
• Experience recruiting caregivers or service-based staff preferred.
• Knowledge of onboarding and HR compliance including I-9 documentation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organization skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for respite workers, caregivers, and administrative staff.
• Review applications, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews with managers.
• Coordinate onboarding and employment requirements (DOJ/FBI fingerprint, TB, CPR/First Aid).
• Enter and maintain employee data in the HRIS system (ADP or similar).
• Support hiring process, reference checks, and new hire orientation.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with employment regulations.
• Assist with HR initiatives and provide admin support to HR leadership.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding onboarding, policies, and documentation.
